I hope you'll all be there booing him loudly with me!

No respect for someone who very clearly didn't want anything to do with this city and forced a trade in a very pivotal season. Happy with the return, though.

Where does Marchenko rank for you on the Carter/PLD/Laine/Panarin scale?

Why are we not blowing this team up and rebuilding right now?

I get it, we haven't made the playoffs in six seasons and it's frustrating.

But whether or not we make the playoffs, Marchenko and Werenski are almost certainly gone or are going to ask for so much money they'll fuck up the team for a long time to come. We have absolutely nothing in the pipeline and unfortunately unless we finish in the bottom of the standings we aren't going to stack it with any talent. We're saddled with shit contracts of aging players and I just don't see how this current roster turns into a cup contending team. Honestly I was excited about the haul we were going to get for Werenski this off season.

I know this fanbase can't stomach another rebuild but what the fuck else is the option here? Are we all cool with another single first round win in the next 20 years?

Former Ohio State football player spared prison time after pleading guilty to 9 bank robberies

Nine bank robberies and ZERO days in prison. 21.5 years suspended. Seems like it's not possible to go to prison in Franklin county if you blame mental health?

Military Lanes | Transportation Security Administration

What in the fuck is this? Lmfao

"In airports without dedicated lanes, show your valid military or veteran ID to the lane monitor for front-of-the-line service."

We're gonna let veterans cut to the front of the TSA line no matter how long it is? Who asked for this? Have they seen a base pharmacy or commissary line?

A Problematic Theory

Purely a theory and I've seen no actual rumors of this, but a Fantilli offer sheet AFTER arbitration for Cole and Jet would be quite an issue. We'd have a finite amount of cap and an offer sheet for so much as $1 over that amount would force us to make roster moves/cuts to keep Fantilli. So the Flyers either get a 1C or force a division rival to cut someone who was projected to be on the roster.

[Scheig] Speaking on TSN1050 in Toronto this morning, Blue Jackets GM Don Waddell reiterated he remains in talks with Adam Fantilli and expressed confidence that a deal will get done. As expected, Waddell also said that they'd have to wait on other moves until the RFA's are figured out

Comparing a very nice mule to a stallion

If Bedard wasn’t around, Carlsson would’ve been (deservedly) 1st overall.

Fantilli vs Will Smith is a better argument.

At least five teams presented offer sheets to Carlsson

An offer sheet for Fantilli appears imminent, right? Or are we just being homers and overestimating his value lol.

Ohio Equal Rights will try to get two amendments on 2027 ballot

Wow. I was unaware Ohio's laws still technically ban same sex marriage (although unenforceable, but who knows for how long ??)
