How often do players decide to share housing to reduce rent costs?

I just got curious, more expensive housing becomes far bearable when the costs are split between more than one person but how often do players actually do that? With how tight money can be in this game especially at the start I imagine that players would jump at any opportunity to save up on money for stuff they want to get, but I may be wrong so hence the question, so what is the actual case?

Are Skinweave and Subdermal Armor concealed?

For years I had assumed that Skinweave and Subdermal Armor were concealed or at least not obvious due to being under the skin, but then I noticed that it looks like their description doesn't mention any of that, so are they concealed or not? If they aren't then what is the point of them over normal armor?

Help with figuring out the limits of a dream based magic system

Okay so I currently working on an idea for an urban fantasy story with a dream based magic system but need some help with figuring out it's limits and some of it's ins and outs, the basic idea is that the universe was dreamed into existence and because of that beings with the right tools and means can use that to do things that should be impossible.

The magic system is based around "dream essence", I am still thinking if I should come up with a better name, dream essence is one of the main pillars of reality with some scientists in the known considering it both an additional fundamental force and a state of matter and energy at the same time.

Just like how most people can't known they are dreaming unless they are lucid dreaming, dream essence is normally undetectable in any way shape or form because it is in a "universal blind spot".

Dream essence can be used to make illusions and with a bit of a spark from a person's soul can make those illusions become more real and eventually partially warp reality to an extent.

There are also beings that are made of almost pure dream essence, they have multiple names but are generally called Wisps, because that is how their "true forms" look like to people that can see them in it.

Most of the primary antagonists can use the power of dream essence to create "fantasy realms" imaginary worlds empowered by dream essence, the antagonists then make those worlds "spill out" into reality and make an area that forces reality to match the theme and motifs of the fantasy of the realm's creator, changing everything and everyone inside and draining the energy of the people inside the realm to further empower the realm's ruler.

The protagonists get help from Wisps to oppose them by using their own dream essence abilities, similar to the realm rulers they each have a theme and motif that resonates with their soul and serves to spark dream essence into action with the help of magical tools.

By transforming themselves with their abilities the protagonists can both empower themselves with enhanced abilities and also protect themselves from the realm's reality warping.

Right now the magical abilities that the protagonists can use beyond the transformation are constructs that consist of objects and attacks made of dream essence that have to match the theme, motif and internal logic of their fantasy to have real power, and a personal "law"or "rule" from their inner fantasy that they can temporarily impose upon reality to make more magical effects and grants each user a unique ability, things like flight, or healing or more exotic effects like forcing an opponent into a one on one duel where the terms and established rules cannot be broken.

One thing I am struggling with is an explanation for how the antagonists can lose in a believable manner, right now I am thinking of having it be a quantity vs quality thing, where despite all their power most of a ruler's attention and energy is spent sustaining the realm itself and controlling the people trapped, where the protagonists can focus on just their own transformation and abilities and so can have an output of far greater quality that can match the ruler's excessive power, does that make sense?

Best RPG to play with a god character?

Okay so I have recently been in a bit of a Greek Mythology kick, and I wanted an RPG to be able to play a god character, I generally prefer systems that are on the medium to heavy amount of rules, but I am okay with a lighter system if it is really good for the concept.

I have heard of godbound and scion 2e but godbound is osr, which doesn't feel like it would fit very well, and when I looked up discussions about Scion I saw lots of complaints, not helped when I noticed that I would need to buy four books to be able to play on the god level, so i am a bit wary of possibly wasting money, so what do any of you recommend?

What can you say for or against any given system? It doesn't have to be godbound or scion if there is another system you heard of that you think is better for this then I am all ears.

How variable in terms of appearance are Kiths from Changeling the Dreaming?

Okay so, thanks to that huge Onyx Path discount I just got into Changeling the Dreaming, I am still going through the 20th anniversary book but I think I already grasped the essentials of the mechanics.

The only thing is that, to me it felt like the appearance of the kiths is way too specific? I wasn't a big fan of how most of them looked for characters I would use, and was wondering how much they can differ from their typical looks.

Like can a Sidhe look like a bigger version of a pop culture fairy? Can a Satyr lack horns? Can a Troll not be huge?

And on that matter what about their typical behaviours, like can a Merfolk prefer to live among humans?
