No fluff, straight to the point. Let’s look at the highly sought-after Daytona Ghost. Left is Gen, right is the VSF V2.

⚖️** The Weight Ga**p: 26g Difference

The Numbers: Gen weighs 163.6g (18K white gold). VS weighs 136g (904L steel).

The Secret: The watch heads and rubber straps weigh virtually the same. The 26g deficit is entirely in the clasp. Steel simply can't match the density of 18K gold, so the VS clasp feels slightly lighter in hand.

📐 Case & Dimensions: Spot-On

Specs: Gen (38.7mm x 11.9mm) vs. VS (38.8mm x 12.1mm). A fraction of a millimeter difference—totally imperceptible on the wrist.

Details: The crown guards and the signature "three-dot" crown marking on the right are perfectly cloned.

🔍 Dial, Hands & Crystal: Micro-Precision

Crystal: VS perfectly replicated the new Gen-spec sharp, beveled sapphire crystal edge with a subtle top polish.

Dial: Excellent color matching on the slate grey dial. The sunburst grain is incredibly fine, and the sub-dial CD rings are sharp with great reflectivity.

Pinion & Hands: The VS V2 features the correct capped, cone-shaped 3D center pinion with a center hole, plus the flat-profile chrono hand.

🦘 Strap & Clasp: Top-Tier Comfort

Oysterflex: VS upgraded their rubber compound for V2—it’s incredibly soft, supple, and hugs the wrist just like Gen.

Clasp: All precious metal stamps (AU750, St. Bernard, scales) are deeply engraved. The only tell is that Gen gold stamps have a faint yellowish tint, while the steel ones on the right are crisp white.

⚙️** Movemen**t: Flagship Dandong 4131

Function: 100% identical operation to Gen (pull out to the first position to set time clockwise).

Feel: Winding is buttery smooth without any gritty resistance. Chronograph pushers are crisp, and the hands snap back to zero perfectly with no stutter.

📝 Quick Verdict

The only real compromise on the VS V2 is the 26g weight difference in the clasp. Beyond that, the precision on the capped pinion, beveled crystal, and dial grain makes this a near-flawless NWC (Not Worth Buying Gen) contender.

This video showcases a full multi-angle comparison between the gen Rolex Panda Daytona and the VSF Daytona, breaking down every key similarity and difference.

Weight & Dimensions:

The gen weighs 145g, while the VSF is 144g. It’s just a 1g difference — you literally cannot tell the weight gap on the wrist. Rolex officially lists this Daytona at 40mm, but the real case size is ~38.8mm with a 12.1mm thickness. The VSF nails the 38.8mm width and sits at 11.9mm thick. Side by side, the naked eye can barely spot any dimensional difference.

Exterior Details & Finishing:

Both pieces have that iconic sloped sapphire crystal with a subtle edge bevel. The crown’s three dots and engraved lines share the exact same curve, thickness and proportion. The applied Rolex coronet on the dial is nicely polished. All text fonts and engravings look almost identical to the gen. The hands use a solid conical central pinion, exactly the same as the original. Hour markers are well-rounded with clean finishing. The sunburst CD texture is super realistic, and the red printing is spot-on. Only tiny tonal differences on the date font aging, nothing to complain about — overall finish is top-tier.

Functionality & Operating Feel:

Pull the crown to the first position and wind clockwise for time setting; the tactile feel is clean and smooth, almost identical to the gen.

All chrono functions:

start, stop and reset, are snappy and follow the exact same logic as the authentic Daytona. Manual winding feels buttery smooth, no noticeable difference in daily use.

Bracelet & Clasp Details:

Inner bracelet links on both watches have subtle stepped finishing. The link holes and edges are properly chamfered and polished with great attention to detail.

Caseback material and segmented construction are a perfect match to the gen. The genuine clasp has slightly wider tolerances, whereas the VSF clasp closes tighter. Still, both open and close smoothly with minimal friction.

VSF also updated its clasp engravings to replicate the shallow depth seen on the newest Daytona models, which is a huge upgrade from older rep batches.

Movement & Internal Construction:

This rep runs on the Dandong 4131 movement. When it comes to architecture, Geneva radiating finish, column wheel and decoration polishing, the VSF movement is insanely close to the Rolex Cal. 4131.

The one big difference is the shock and regulation system: the gen uses a free-sprung balance with inertia weights and a single-sided balance bridge. In contrast, the VSF has a regulated balance, double-sided bridge and no inertia weights. Other than that, almost every visible part looks identical. It offers solid stability and decent shock resistance for daily wear.

This VSF Daytona nails almost every detail: dial, crystal, crown, printing, hands, clasp and movement finishing. The overall similarity hits over 90%. Only minor differences lie in the balance assembly and shock system. For the build quality, this VSF rep is definitely high-tier and cost-effective.

The watch features a 42mm case diameter with a thickness of approximately 13mm, maintaining the same high finishing standard as earlier versions.

Dial Details: The sapphire crystal boasts outstanding clarity, while the embossed wave dial presents premium texture. The luminous coating is evenly applied with strong luminosity. The central hand arbor and dial adopt ceramic finishing; the date window and magnifier replicate every detail of the original reference.

**Operational Feel:**The crystal sits slightly higher than the bezel with a seamless, grit-free transition. Nonetheless, the bezel rotation produces inconsistent sound volume. The helium escape valve positioned at the upper-left functions perfectly. Unscrewing the valve reveals a red waterproof gasket, mirroring the fine details of the genuine piece.

Jewel Bearings: The rubies on the 8800 integrated movement appear less vivid than those on the decorative plate movement, for every jewel serves as an authentic functional bearing. The screw layout matches the original specification, whereas the screws on the 2824 movement are positioned slightly higher.

Balance Wheel & Shock Absorber: The 2824 movement comes with a centered balance wheel; its auxiliary shock absorber at the 6 o’clock side is offset left with a noticeable gap. This video provides a detailed comparison between the VSF Rolex blue dial 126334 model V2 and V1 versions, highlighting the differences, with a focus on the V2 version's upgrades in weight, bezel craftsmanship, and detail finishing.

• Appearance Size and Weight Changes

• Size Adjustment: The V2 version has a diameter of approximately 39.9mm and a thickness of about 11.5mm. Compared to the V1 version (thickness around 11.7mm), the V2 is slightly thinner, and the mirror height is slightly reduced.

• Weight Increase: The V2 version weighs 132g, about 4-5g heavier than the V1 version (128g). Despite the weight increase, it is still around 5g lighter than the genuine model (V1 is about 10g lighter than the original).

• Bezel Craftsmanship Upgrade

• Material and Luster: The V2 version has undergone electroplating treatment on the tooth-shaped bezel, improving its high gloss, making it shinier than the V1.

• Durability Improvement: The upgraded bezel is more wear-resistant and less prone to oxidation. While the original is made of 18K white gold, which doesn't fade, the replica is usually made from copper, which can fade over time. However, the V2 improvement brings it closer to the original in terms of both durability and visual effect.

This review covers the latest AP Royal Oak 15510 releases from VSF. Overall, the craftsmanship, movement, and attention to detail are exceptional, with only a minor critique regarding the movement’s balance wheel weights.

Case & Exterior Craftsmanship

Dimensions: Measured at 41.3mm in diameter and 10.7mm thick. The crystal clarity and height match the genuine (Gen) specs perfectly.

Finishing: The brushing on the octagonal bezel is incredibly fine. The case flanks feature crisp brushing, and the polished chamfers on the lugs are well-proportioned and sharp.

Caseback Opening: Features the correct trapezoidal "wide-top, narrow-bottom" structure, a key detail for authenticity.

Lug Design: The lugs feature a natural 10-20 degree downward slope. This allows the watch to hug the wrist comfortably without needing to be forced down, offering a superior fit compared to other batches.

Bracelet & Clasp: The inner side of the bracelet links features slight indentations at the pins, consistent with Gen. The clasp interior is sandblasted, and the double-deployant mechanism feels tactile and secure.

Movement Performance

Caliber: Equipped with the Dandong 4302 movement, fine-tuned by VSF for improved stability and a long power reserve.

Dial Texture: The Blue and Green color accuracy is excellent with fine sunburst effects. The "Grande Tapisserie" squares are sharp and pyramid-shaped. The transitions between the patterns are smooth, avoiding the "wall-like" stiffness seen in inferior versions.

Logo & Lume: The dial features the updated "Audemars Piguet" raised text logo (replacing the AP monogram). The hands and indices are filled with high-quality white lume for excellent low-light visibility.

Functionality: The date flips instantaneously (quick-set), the winding feels light and smooth, and there are no issues with hand alignment (no "high/low" hand gaps).

Aside from the missing balance wheel weights, this watch has no significant flaws. The case, bracelet, and dial execution are top-tier. Whether you prefer the Blue or Green dial, this is a "super-rep" quality release that is ready to wear straight out of the box.
