Tips getting started

Just looking for 2 radios for my wife and I. For camping, "overlanding", potential times of having to split up etc. Are 2 of the BTECH GMRS-V2 5W a good option for us? Was looking at Rocky Talkies GMRS option for simplicity and rugged design - just way too expensive. Again, looking for something sufficent, yet not junk. Thanks all.

Looking for recommendations - for best radios for just my partner and I ..

Was recommended Baoefeng according to lots of FB "prepper" groups. After looking further into them - they definitely seem cheap and potentially not dependable. Budget friendly - sure ... I don't mind spending a few more bucks on something we can rely on. I want something my wife and I can travel with and depend on if we were to ever have to separate - even for a brief period of time! We definitely do not have any type of license or much experience, if any at all. We want decent range and dependability and something we can program - again - simply for just us 2 (at least for now). We are in the USA and discovering it's simple to get licensed for GMRS and then have better options that way VS just a walkie talkie grade route. Thanks in advance!

Looking for the best carry option

Been highly considering the Pistelle X-68 Gen 2 - just haven't pulled the trigger yet. No pun intended .. I honestly don't see a better option - without looking at power and accuracy - and having to jump into a PCP category. This would of course require pumps and air tanks and get more complicated. Doesn't seem ideal either for a less than lethal daily carry.

If the Pistelle X-68 Gen 2 is the way to go - can y'all please help me with the top spot to purchase for customer service and warranty concerns.

I'd also appreciate any info on recommended upgrades - definitely the upgraded o rings etc for reliability, longevity and durability.

Thanks a bunch.
