is this legal?

is it legal in California for therapy programs to charge medi-cal patients with no income cancelation/no show fees? I just started a new therapy program and I had to go sick because I got sick one day before my session. Their policy is you get charged $100 if you cancel less than 48 hours in advance or no show. They do NOT waive this fee for medi-cal patients like most programs do. They do not even discount it. It's $100 out of pocket for everyone. There are no exceptions except true emergencies like being hospitalized or if the therapist is the one who cancels.

I previously believed it was illegal in California for anywhere to charge medi-cal patients out of pocket even if they're willing to pay. I've gotten turned away from a few urgent cares who didn't accept my medi-cal plan despite offering to self pay and there being 0 urgent cares in my city that accept it. They told me they turned me away because it'd be illegal to allow me to self pay as they can't legally charge me. They literally said it was illegal in the state of California.

I assumed this applied to all healthcare. But since have had several people argue with me that ONLY places like urgent care have this rule, refraining it as like a policy tsome places have rather than an actual state law, and that I should be able to self pay at other types of places if ever able to. (though I'm not able to regardless since I have no money and no income so)

So I asked a few state social workers, and got conflicting answers. Some told me yes it's completely illegal here. Others told me it's technically legal but falls in a legal grey area.

Even with the state workers I cannot seem to get the true answer?

does this mean GI bleeding?

my farts have started smelling exactly like iron metal. Exactly. like. it. and very strongly too.

which in my experience iron metal smell = blood

but I haven't seen any visible blood in my stool and don't have any anal injuries.

so does this mean I have microscopic gi bleeding? is it like coming from inside of my stomach?

Vodka gives me nightmares.

I can't find anyone else who shares this experience? Is there anyone else or is it just me?

if I fall asleep with vodka in my system, I always have horrible vivid nightmares.

it's just vodka too. no other alcohol.

I remember when I was 15 I went on a week long bender but I was only drinking skyy vodka. I was new to getting drunk and I'd like crash and instantly fall asleep as soon as the intoxication began wearing off. And every time, I had a horrible vivid nightmare.

Fast forward to 21. I'm in the USA so 21 is the legal drinking age here. Ever since I turned 21 i dont drink a lot anymore because I had the forbidden fruit effect when I was underage but now that I can easily just buy and access it it's not exciting to me anymore so I barely drink anymore. And even less often do I get drunk anymore.

But, last night, I decided to have a drink that had ONE shot of pink whitney in it so not enough to have any intoxicating effect at all, before going to sleep.

And what do you know? had another vivid nightmare.

But, when I had, say, a glass of wine before going to sleep on another night, this didnt happen.

And if I drink vodka in the day and it has enough time to fully clear out by night, I'll be fine then too.

It is ONLY vodka.

Should I get a breast screening if my pain persists?

ik this sub isn't intended for medical advice and remove if not allowed, but r/womenshealth keeps instantly locking all pf my posts with no explnation so nobody can comment there and I cant find another better fitting sub.

I've had unexplained come and go moderate sharp shooting breast pain on only one breast and its also tender and achy in between pain waves.

I have no other symptoms and no skin changes. no lump, redness, swelling, etc.

the only reason I am concerned at all is because I have a family history of breast cancer.

I am not rushing anywhere right away. I am going to wait it out longer and see if the pain goes away on its own after another week or so. but if it doesn't, I might consider getting it screened, but I'm just not sure if a healthcare provider would be willing to do so, given my age (im only 21) and my lack of urgent symptoms like a lump or discharge, and I don't want to waste time and potentially money going to and from an appointment just to be told it's nothing and sent on my way

moviestarplanet song in a porn intro. where do they get their music from?!

the msp movie music, the ones in the music store meant to be used in movies

several of them don't seem to exist outside of msp like they're not even on shazam

well, one of them,

the one called "heartbeat emotions" that's in the artfilm catogery

I just heard playing faintly in the background of a mainstream lesbian porn intro.

which really begs the question WHERE do they get their music?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
