What frame yz250 is best?

I’m honestly tired of owning old discontinued two strokes I think I would like to get a yz250 for steel frame I want a 2000+ and aluminum anything 05+ as I’ll be rebuilding it and putting the new style tank airbox and plastics, never owned a Yamaha or rode one so I’m not sure what frame to get. MODS THIS IS NOT A WHAT BIKE SHOULD I GET POST. I appreciate any help!

Certified trash welder

I tried some stick 6011, I don’t need any words to say how bad this is, Dw they were fixed by someone who can weld good

Can I use 2016-2019 ktm 250 sxf piston rings on a 2022 ktm 250 sxf?

Currently doing a top in on my 2022 KTM 250 SXF I ordered piston rings from Pro X on Moto sport and vertex gaskets the piston rings on the package say 2016 to 2019 i’ve looked it up, but all the answers. I’m finding are from ai and I know you can’t trust ai, I put them on the piston, but haven’t fully installed them yet, they seem to fit good and I don’t see difference between them and the OEM piston rings, I appreciate any help!

Thoughts on pro x piston rings?

Currently doing a restoration on my 2022 ktm 250 sxf, the motor was flooded and the bike was crashed badly, I’ve got the top end torn apart and cleaned up the throttle body, head, and honed/cleaned the cylinder, there was water in the motor but it didn’t get past the rings, the rings are rusted from water hence the new rings, I wasn’t going to change out the piston yet as this is already a very expensive project and it only has 45 hours on the entire bike, I’ve also bought new electrical stuff ecu and a few other things, thanks for any help!
