I had my first migraine today at work and I’m scared

It began with the vision aura. I literally convinced myself I was having an aneurysm or I was about to pass out while serving. My peripheral vision started getting really blurry like there was blind spots and then before I knew it I was seeing all the colors in the restaurant blurring together. It was hard to look at people’s faces and take orders. It was happening in both eyes and getting worse as I walked through different parts of the restaurant with different lighting, which I now know can be a trigger. it lasted about 30 minutes to an hour and then after that, I got a crazy bad headache that still hasn’t fully gone away. There was also a crazy thunderstorm tonight with lightning, which, for my research says can be a trigger also. This has never happened to me before. of course I’ve gotten bad headaches but nothing with my vision going out and not being able to see straight. i’m not even sure why I’m writing this. I’m just scared it might happen again. I’m 18 years old and I’ve never had one before but my mom does suffer with them so maybe it’s a genetic thing that’s finally starting to develop or maybe it was just the thunderstorm. I’m just terrified it’ll happen again especially at work.

I’m sorry this is a lot to read

About a month ago, I had to go to urgent care because I had convinced myself my lungs were either collapsing or I was having a heart attack. The night before I was watching TV with my mom and all of the sudden I couldn’t get a full breath in and my heart was racing like crazy. (Chest pain too) At first I assumed I was just greening out so I went to bed to try and sleep it off. I woke up the next morning full blown panicking because I still couldn’t breathe, my heart was racing, and now I was shaking and sweating violently. I got blood tests, an EKG, and an xray done and everything came back clear. They told me it was just anxiety. Even though this happened a month ago I’m still having chest pain, and the other symptoms despite not smoking my cart anymore. It really could just be anxiety but I’m scared. I’m now trying to quit vaping too, but I’m still picking it up despite all of this. You would think constantly convincing myself I’m dying would be enough to quit… Has quitting cold turkey been effective for any of you? I also work in a restaurant and live in a house full of smokers so I really need to lock in if I do.
