First Questionable Guest
Hey fellow hosts. I’m a Superhost with two properties, one being our childhood country home since 1973.
We had our third renter call and claim there was a moldy smell in the house, too much dust and the upstairs of the home was too warm to sleep in. (Mind you it’s an older home and it’s currently a heatwave). She went on and on and on about all of her health problems.
I know the home is older but it was spotless and there’s most certainly not any mold in the house.
She’s asking at 6pm on a holiday weekend to be refunded for three nights of a four night stay so they can stay elsewhere.
I personally feel she’s trying to get out of the rental because it’s a small home for her group with only one bathroom. I’ve had over 75 renters and never had anyone ask to leave early..How would you handle this situation?
