Best e-van (specific needs)

I’ve been trying to do my own research rather than just post and ask, but it’s a hell of a struggle because I’ve got some special restrictions and needs.

Basically, I’m a contractor who works at film studios all over England. I work two or three 6-8 week contracts a year. I’d like to live out of the van for those contracts.

Because film work has catering for all my meals, I don’t need a kitchen in my van. Weekends I’ll go home or visit friends.

The van unfortunately has to be automatic, and ideally electric (but also that seems to be the main options for auto vans). I’m based in Birmingham and need to be able to get to Manchester (80ish miles) and London (120miles) so I ideally would want a range of 150+ miles.

My budget for buying the van is £5,000 which may be unrealistic looking at the e-sprinters but if there’s any other options I’d love to know about them. Time is on my side and I can quite happily buy a van in December.

Any suggestions on vans?

Anyone else really disappointed with Anyma?

If anyone is wondering if the gig was good, I went yesterday and it was honestly terrible. Which is such a shame because I was really looking forward to it!

Maybe if tickets were cheaper and they were honest about the show I would recommend Anyma, but that wasn’t the case.

The visuals AREN’T AUDIO REACTIVE most of the time the visuals are entirely unrelated in every way. No moving to the beat, no changes with the beat drop, nothing.

There was NO VISUALS ON THE SCREEN for many parts of the show, sometimes spanning minutes of nothing.

When there are visuals is really obvious in person they aren’t well done. I work in VFX, my partner doesn’t but we both agree the visuals were terrible quality. I think a trainee could have done this and honestly I think one of the scenes was AI. Some of the visuals are literally just the poly view of a model (they’ve not done any work). It’s incredibly lazy and really sad, because they only needed one or two artists and so many people would have smashed the visuals out of the park.

The TikTok’s you see are clearly very planned marketing for the small parts of the show that are almost certainly rendered videos, and honestly I doubt he’s live DJing any of it.

Literally half of the crowd left in the first 30mins of the set. Awful!

French > English | postcard

I bought this postcard at a market and I think it’s a joke. I’d love to know what it says!

Found wedding rings

Hey reddit, can you help me find the owners of these rings! Found near Covent Garden, they look very special and I’d love for them to go back to their owner.

If you’re the owner can you PM me and send a picture of you wearing the rings to verify they are yours :)
