Texas Democrats said the sales tax exemption that Paxton seeks to repeal is the same one he voted for in 2013 while in the State Senate. "Paxton had the authority as Attorney General to stop data centers, but did nothing because he is in the pocket of his data center donors."

James Talarico teams up with Mark Cuban on plan to break up healthcare ‘monopolies’

“Mark and I agree it’s time to break up the Big Medicine monopolies that control our broken healthcare system... This plan will break up monopolies, lower medical debt, bring down the cost of prescription drugs, and ensure doctors decide what medication their patients need — not insurance companies."

James Talarico offers a faith perspective: "freedom, family, and faith."

Talarico has said: "Politicians like John Cornyn and Ken Paxton claim to stand for freedom, family, and faith.

  • But you can’t stand for freedom and control what we say, what we read, and what we do with our own bodies.
  • You can’t stand for family and vote against paid family leave, affordable child care, or the right of every American to marry who they love.
  • And you can’t stand for faith and then warp and weaponize religion to hurt our neighbors."
