odd scent

just wondering if anyone who lives in an apartment-style dorm on campus keeps smelling something burnt in the air? obviously not marijuana, that’s always wafting in the air. i’m not sure what, but at one point, it smelled so horribly burnt that i went to see if anyone was using the stove, because that has its own burning scent, but no one was. i expressed the concern to my suitemates in our group chat, but none of them responded. should i be worried?

Single Dorm Room

Hi Feng Shui community! I recently got assigned this dorm room, but have no clue how to arrange the furniture so that the feng shui is good.

I will probably end up putting the dresser under my bed or in the closet (closet cannot be moved) to give myself more room.

Any advice/tips are appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Bedroom: 9’5” x 10’1” (approximately)
• Desk: 48" X 24.5" X 30"
• Dresser: 29.5" X 24.5" X 30
• Mattress: Twin XL (36" X 80")
• Bed frame: 86" X 38"
- Adjustable bed heights: at their lowest setting, the bottom of the springs is 8" off floor. The top of the mattress is 17 1/2"; at their highest setting, the bottom of the springs is 33" off the floor. The top of the mattress is 42 1/2".
