Took my DR-Z4S to a Dutch XC race. Turned out to be the driest and hottest day in like a decade: 38*C (100*F). Dust was so bad I could literally not see anything going into the first turn.
Didn't have the best start, mainly because my short legs had trouble getting the kickstand in. I'm thinking of disconnecting the kickstand switch for the next race. The race itself was super tough. I had a hard time keeping lines in the loose conditions, and the heat was brutal. Normally, these races last for 2 hours, but it was cut short due to 1:15. Did manage to complete the race and despite 3 crashes, I did not end last (14th/16 riders in my class), so obviously I'm celebrating this as if I won the race.
