I seriously miss the older model with the physical map and the LED light indicating which station you’re at. Now, whenever I’m on the train, I find myself frantically looking around the carriage just to figure out what stop we're at.
A simple LED light did the job perfectly. I don’t understand why they decided to replace it with an LCD screen that randomly shows a 3D model of the station?? let’s be real, absolutely no one cares about that. It’s so unnecessary, and I’m honestly in awe that anyone thought this was a good idea. If anything, it feels like they just wanted an excuse to shove more ads in our faces.
EDIT: sorry guys i took this picture from google, but i noticed i still get confused when taking the NSL… whereas when i change to NEL it’s much easier to comprehend
