Finished EoF and I am confused about how The Nine are able to supersede paracausality

The Vex are supposedly able to perfectly simulate all possible timelines and then manipulate events to their preferred outcome. Yet guardians throw a giant monkey wrench because they can't account for paracausality. What about The Nine does not make this an issue? I could understand how they are able to manipulate events up until the point of the Dark Age when we finally have Risen, but what about after that point?

If Stop! That! Train! Was an acting challenge, who are your tops and bottoms this week?

Overall, I think everyone did fantastic and I had a thoroughly fun time watching this little stupid (complimentary) piece of media. They're not making the judging easy, but someone has to win and someone has to go home this week, so here are my thoughts at least:

Tops

Jujubee: Absolutely adorable to watch. Really sold the whole "small town girl with big city dreams and just the right amount of gumption to make it happenx But without overstaying her welcome. Very easy to root for the whole movie

Ru Paul: it doesn't feel fair having her in the competition, as I'm not sure how much of my positive view of her performance is the movie itself vs her prestige, but at the end of the day, she was an absolute scene stealer. I was always eager to see when she was going to show up and what she was going to do. "She fun" has already entered my collection of everyday vocal stims.

Matt Rogers: Having to share a scene with Ru Paul when your role is literally to be her assistant and not get lost in the background is a MONUMENTOUS task and he did it beautifully. I think part of the excitement of seeing President Gagwell was actually seeing what her press secretary was going to do as a reaction. They did a great job bouncing the straight man role back and forth so both had a chance to be funny

Bottoms

Marcia x3: while Matt Rogers did a phenomenal job holding his own against Ru, I don't think Marcia did the same with Brooke. I want to say that maybe it was the script's fault, but the more I think about it, I think Symone had just as many lines and at least made her presence more known. Having seen Marcia in Cabaret and knowing what she can do, I was a little disappointed

Brian Jordan Alvarez: The only performance I really genuinely didn't like. Himbos run a fine line of being too dumb to be entertaining, and this ran over that line, backed up over it, then ran it again. To quote Robert Downey Jr in Tropic Thunder....

Michelle Visage: Short cameo, but everyone else felt like they were at least playing a character. Michelle just felt like Michelle. Kinda took me out of it

Top 2

I think for me it comes down to Matt and Ru as our top 2. Their performances really helped magnify the other and their scenes together were some of the best in the movie for me. That being said, there can only be one winner, and only one of them had me saying "When are they gonna be back on screen?"Ru Paul, Condragulations you are the winner of this week's challenge

Bottom 2:

I think it's pretty obvious that Brian is lipsyncing, but the other bottom took a little more thought. I think Marcia's track record having seen her prior saves her quite a bit because I know the potential in there. Michelle is GORGEOUS but we need more than just a pretty face.

[Lipsync is Crazy Train by Ozzy]

Michelle Visage, shantay you stay. Brian Jordan Alvarez, sashay away.

Where as Ru's performance had me asking when she'll be back, Brian's performance had me asking when it'll be over. And in a movie whose whole schtick is "just good, stupid fun", it was just a little too much stupid.

There is my caffeine induced raving. What do y'all think though?

Fun/stupid little idea I came up with: using only the pops immediately available to you, who's your dream blunt rotation?

[VtM/World of Darkness in general] Has God intervened in affairs more than just The Deluge?

And if not, why not? Collateral damage didn't seem to be an issue the first time when he tried to wipe out the second and third generations.
