Anyone know the best medication for motion sickness?

I'm not prone to motion sickness myself but my girlfriend is and she had a great time last time we went but struggled after a few of the rides with feeling sick due to motion sickness. She had to take a break after Nemesis so we were both trying to find some motion sickness tablets that actually work and where better to ask than a subreddit with (hopefully) people that have had success with this!

Bit of a moan.. We had an awful time looking for places to eat at the park today...

We were looking for food around 12pm and were nearby Galactica and noticed the rollercoaster restaurant was closed which was fair enough, operating an entire restaurant for a fairly quiet day would be a bit silly.

Issue is that most of the food places were closed and we had to go all the way to Loaded Spuds outside of Wickerman and I have to say it was the worst food I have ever eaten.

Very overpriced, dry and cold. Zero customer service skills from the two staff on there. We were waiting for about 20 mins to be served so we could use our discount whilst nobody else was around and they just wouldn't serve us. We had to use the screens in the end and miss out on our golden pass holder discount. They didnt give a reason, if their till system was down or something it would have been fine but there was zero communication on their part.

I know food is overpriced at the resort but its usually somewhat decent but this made us all feel ill afterwards too. I work with hot food myself and know that high risk foods need to be kept at a minimum of 65 degrees celsius for no more than 2 hours and judging by the state of the food, it was certainly kept below the 65 degree minimum.

Just very disappointed and concerned that we all felt sick after eating the food, and still do as of writing this on the way home.

As for the ride availability though, it was a fantastic day. I was unaware of any ride closures and the weather held off which was really good! Glad to see the sky ride testing, hopefully its ready soon!

Has anyone ever explored this old restaurant?

It's located on Chester Road near Helsby, Cheshire, UK.

I drove past it recently and remebered all the times I visited as a kid and wondered if it was completely abandoned as it very much appears to be.

I've noticed there are gaps in the fence, as if it has been moved to one side so I assume people have been in here.

I'd like to go there and explore but I'm concerned that there may be active cameras as there are some cameras lingering around the outside of the building but these are cameras that were there when the building was in use. Now that it's likely abandoned forever, I'm wondering if these cameras still operate.

I recently went to visit my gf in Hull and whilst I was there we stopped by the Lord Line building and I've been itching to go and explore more places but I'm struggling to find anywhere that doesn't have a heavy security presence or is demolished!

I'm not able to drive at the moment so I have to rely on others to get to locations so I'm preferably looking for places in the UK, specifically Cheshire, or relatively close by if at all possible!

Thanks in advance

I saw a post about this a long time ago as an idea for a server and wondered if anybody knew if it is being worked on?

I always loved Rust but these days I don't tend to play it as much just because I don't have as much time but I figured it would be cool to be able to play it within a game like Hytale.

It's a fun game and I'd be interested to see it ported over into a blocky game like Hytale.

I'm not sure what the best flair is for this so please excuse me if it isn't the best choice.

-

I want to preface this by saying that I am not giving up on my driving, I couldn't allow myself to after putting so much money into it.

I'm at a point where I've lost my passion to pass my test purely because of the wait times between tests. If I fail a test, that's fair enough, the examiner has done their job. But what kills my motivation is the ridiculous wait times. I know they're not going to go down any time soon and because I'm struggling for motivation and passion at the moment, it makes me doubtful for my upcoming test at the end of the month. That beind said, I'm now considering trying for a CBT purely so that I can travel and therefore look for other jobs whilst I keep trying for my driving test. My theory expires in November and I figured that if I do end up failing in May, I might not be able to get a slot before it expires so maybe my CBT will bring back some passion for driving if I'm actively on the road on my own. I know its not the same as driving a car but I'm sure it will boost my independant skills from general road usage outside of car lessons.

Is this a good idea so that I can become get to places and try for other jobs or do you think it will make me even less interested since I'll potentially have a bike?

I'm 50/50 but more leaning towards it being a good idea mostly for building independant skills on the road.

A downside is that my parents really don't want me driving a bike because my dad used to drive them and got into two accidents, one because of oil on the road and the other due to black ice, both of which he came out fine but it knocked his confidence with bikes and of course, neither of them want to see me getting into an accident on a bike because as they say "you only have two wheels and no protection unlike a car" which I totally get. Of course though, my dad did remind me that it is my choice and not theirs which I respect and appreciate.
