Mid-late November?

What is Capitol Reef and the Torrey area like in late November (just before thanksgiving)?

Are restaurants open? I don’t need a ton of options, just somewhere to get a hot meal.

Do most of the trailheads remain accessible by suv at this time of year?

I’m an east-coaster, but after visiting the other Utah parks, Grand Canyon and hiking the JMT in the past 2 years, I’m pretty addicted to seeing as many west coast parks as I can.

My work allows for mid-late November time off. I would love to spend 10ish days doing a loop from Salt Lake City, through Moab for few days, then Cortez, CO ( Mesa Verde) for a day, then Torrey, UT for a few more days before heading back to the SLC airport.

Is late November a realistic time to visit Capitol Reef/Torrey, UT?

Thanks!

Shared album invites not working

I’m trying to create a shared album for my family. None of them are receiving the invite.

My phone is updated. Shared albums is turned on for everyone in settings. On strong wifi.

I’ve tried contacts, phone numbers and emails.

Nothing works.

Anyone have a solution?

Resupply Problem MTR

I’m in a bit of a panic. I get on a plane late next week to start my SOBO hike. Excited, but very nervous. My MTR resupply bucket has been stuck in USPS hell for 3 weeks now. It keeps getting shipped all over the place (across the country twice, and through Denver 3 times now.)

I have no idea if it will ever arrive in Lakeshore, CA.

USPS has been no help at all. They say they can’t assist because it has been more than 14 days since the shipping date. (I shipped pretty early because I had to go on a 2 week business trip.) I feel like I’ve tried every avenue to get someone to help me at USPS.

I don’t think I have time to build another resupply bucket, and get it shipped out. And I don’t really want to pay to do that or spend the time.

I was planning 6 days from MTR to Independence. I’m not a fast hiker and I’ve never been to the Sierras before. Am I totally screwed? I don’t know what I would do with that resupply box.
