Payment to "Friends and Family" CAN be claimed back by the person that payed!!!!

I had someone I know make a payment to me with "Payment to Friends and Family". It was a payment to settle his part of a common bill we had (weekend trip with friends). Afterwards, this "friend" got mad at the rest of the group of friends (won't mention the reason).

Apparently he had made the PayPal payment with his Credit Card, and he claimed the amount back from his CC company, claiming it was a payment for goods he bought and he never received the goods! So the CC company opened a claim with PayPal, and PayPal just took the money from my PayPal account!

What the hell is this? PayPal just took a few hundreds of euro's from my account just like that! Just because someone who is mad, files a false claim at his CC company to claim a payment back that was made as "Payment to Friends and Family".

This makes PayPal COMPLETELY unreliable! I will never accept payments through PayPal anymore and will only pay through PayPal. Unbelievable!

Colis Privé is the most shitty parcel company EVER!

And AGAIN Colis Privé has managed to lose one of my packages! It's incredible! If you thought parcel companies just give sh*t about your packages, than you never experienced the "Colis Privé experience". It almost looks like they enjoy NOT doing their job!

And unfortunately the international shipping program from eBay chooses Colis Privé to deliver some of the packages here in Belgium.

How hard can it be? Ring the bell. Nobody there? Bring the package to the parcel shop!

No clue what Colis Privé does? Leave the package at the front door, to get stolen? Throw the package in a river nearby? Just steal it? I have no clue, but the manage to screw up ALL THE TIME when I'm not home! I really hate these guys!

Did these registration cards come folded or not?

I have a very particular question: I recently got my hands on a fantastic copy of the Space Quest Collection Series. There was a Warranty Registration card printed on fairly thick paper included. Off course those cards are often quite big and folded. But this one was folded two times.

As I thought this was done by the previous owner, and I wanted a "mint" copy of this specific registration card, I asked if someone had one for sale in a facebook group, and there someone told me that these cards came folded like this?

I think it would be strange if this was the case, because this card would perfectly fit the box without folding it twice.

So my question here: are there people that also have this specific registration card and can confirm these came folded like this? (Please notice the address: I have another VERY similar card, but that is printed on normal paper, and has another address.)

Mediamarkt is decreasing there Bluray selection and my autistic selve has issues with that...

I'm still one of those people who likes a nice cuboard full of good movies and TV-series in physical format. Certainly if it are nice editions. On top of that, I want my cases to look perfect. So for digibooks or slip covers, I do not want damage to the cardboard: no dented conrners, no indentations on the cardboard surface, etc...

Therefore, I prefer to buy my blurays in a physical store, so I can evaluate the stat of the box and buy the nicest one. Mediamarkt was my place to go to, since they offered almost all recent releases from the Benelux.

Yesterday, I wanted to go pick up the bluraybox of "Welcome to Derry", and I noticed the bluray section was almost half as big as the last time I was there a few weeks ago. On top of that, they did not had the bluray box and when I informed at the counter, they said they will also not have it for sale...

My only option now is to buy the box on bol.com, but I'm pretty sure the slipcover will get some dents during shipping, which I hate!

Just wanted to rant here, but feel free to share your opinions. I know most people think "why physical? Just stream the damn thing!" but I'm over 40 and nostalgic towards the old VHS video rental places. I guess I just want my own, small "video rental place" at home? ;-)
