As the country continues to bake, the soil over ancient foundations reacts at a different rate than regular soil. In St. Albans, Roman ruins are “appearing” through the grass.

With RIAT being cancelled for…reasons…this year, it was extra special for folks to be able to enjoy the Wallop Wheels & Wings event at the Army Flying Museum. Despite it being scorching without a speck of cloud, the event was sold out and so many families enjoyed the flying and the cars (though the flying was obviously the big hit). Fantastic work by the volunteers and the always exceptional members of the Forces.

Got an M60. Had to get the last year before that awful NK interior.

Air con and some supplemental winter heating. I bet they’ll see a fair amount of interest this week.
