Do you or someone you know use the Red Line train for necessary travel to places besides downtown?

The Red Line will be temporarily closed from August 24-27. While there is a replacement bus service, it only stops at Leander, Lakeline, Howard and Downtown stations, in addition to Republic Square.

As an example, It can take approx. 90 minutes getting to ACCs Highland Campus for students & staff or the Domain for workers from Lakeline station, vs 30 and 45 minutes respectively normally with the train. This is also the first week of ACC & UT classes.

For any ACC students or staff members, contact ACC and let them know about the need for a rail shuttle stop at Highland! You can email green@austincc.edu for the green pass team and call (512) 223 - 7301 for the Highland campus management office.

Hundreds of students and staff use the train to get to Highland, it's ridiculous there isn't a stop.
