Everybody that enters public service after attaining a degree should have student loan payments paused, after 10 years of service they should be written off entirely.

If you’re helping the country through your work and are providing value through your service, you shouldn’t have to pay for the education that made that possible.

I would rather public spaces look untidy than have gallons of carcinogens sprayed everywhere

This might be a UK thing (I am guessing not) but here every tree base, every lamppost, every Ballard, park bench, every single standing object, is sprayed with weed killer to keep it looking tidy (cus dead plants look so lovely). This everywhere, parks, schools, hospitals, and seeing as weedkillers are essentially poison - wouldn’t you weather the place just looked a bit less “tidy”?

If Wes Streeting, the snivelling little Tory, is the best Labour can come up with then we may as well hand Nige and his merry band of simpletons the keys now.

The best way to see if Reform is ready for power is to test them at council level.

From what I understand, Reform councillors in many areas have been anywhere between work shy and incompetent. If people are considering giving Reform the keys to the kingdom, tasting/challenging them now at council level is a good chance to gain some idea of what we can expect!

We should all be lobbying for three day weekends

Salaries are crap, the cost of living is going up, quality of life has stagnated for years, why the hell are we working ourselves into the ground to be skint for 2 weeks of the month?

At least if we had longer weekends we’d have time to recharge for the trudge of the working week. If we’re going to be skint, we may as well have a bit of time to moan about it.

Do Brits love to bend the knee to the posh boys?

Cameron, Johnson, Farage. All utterly removed from the lives of most people, all utterly transparent in who they actually work for and yet, again and again we follow them, we believe them and we vote for them. Is “our lord knows best” so etched into our national psyche that we keep returning despite the results always being utter gubbins?
