Starting topiramate Side Effects

I have been taking Topiramate 25mg at night for a week and I have been feeling quite dizzy and nauseas as well as some pins and needles in the legs and face and so far, no reduction in Migraines. Is it Normal to feel nauseous and dizzy and will these side effects fade soon or should I stop taking this medicine

Lumber Puncher procedure side effects

Has anyone had a lumbar puncture? I had one a week ago and I am still suffering from post procedure side effects of headache, dizziness and nausea and an inability to sleep. Has anyone else had a lumber puncher done and how long did it take to recover? I am worried that the site may still be leaking spinal fluid, I wish I never had it done.

Switching from Amitriptyline to Pizotifen. Anyone done this

I have been taking Amitriptyline 20mg for around 2 months and I feel it slightly helps with reducing the severity of my migraines. I still get migraines most days. I saw a different Dr and he recommended switching straight over to Pizotifen 0.5mg a day and working up to 1.5 mg a day. Has anyone had experience with switching to Pizotifen? Was there side effects and is the Pizotifen effective in preventing Daily migraines.

Thank you

Had BPPV now I am getting Vestibular Migraines

I was diagnosed with a case of BPPV after exercise and about 2 weeks that resolved, however now I am suffering from Vestibular Migraines. I got headaches now and then before the BPPV ,but now they're on a completely different level and quite debilitating. Has anyone else experienced BPPV leading to ongoing Migraines

Amitriptyline and not sleeping

I see a lot of people find Amitriptyline helps with sleeping, but I have been taking 10mg at night for migraines of Amitriptyline and although tired I am not falling asleep, like I haven't slept for 2 days . Does anyone find Amitriptyline actually stops you falling asleep or do I have something else stopping me falling asleep? I have tried the usual practise to get to sleep and stay asleep, and it's just not working, feeling like I am going crazy

I started taking Amitriptyline 10 days ago for migraines . I took 10mg for 7 days with no major issues, then my dose was uped to 20mg. I have been taking the 20mg for 3 days now and today I am having hot flushes coming from my gut up and a feeling of nausea and very tired. Is this a normal side effect of the Amitriptyline or something else ? I do not like feel like this
