I took this from a website that is selling a used truck that I am interested in. Is there anything that is concerning to you?
Long Island here. No Lightnings to be had near me or adjoining states. So seriously considering purchasing one out of state. Can you provide some advice on how to go about this. There is a 2023 Lariat w 25k in the Mid West that looks good for 49.300. What’s the best way of buying out of state. When I called I was told the truck is in transit (I guess they purchased at auction). Have to say the salesperson just seemed like he was reading from a script and had no time to talk with an out of stater. Frustrating.

Looking at a Flash and it does not come with a built in tailgate step or power up/down.
Are there other options for a step? Also, for those that don’t have a power up and down tailgate, are you missing it? Any reason to turn down a deal because the truck is without it? I’m thinking I will be able to live without the powered tailgate, but the step will be need as I’m dealing with a bum hip.

Okay, so the 2022 that I was interested in was sold. It was a decent deal, but due to life/work, I was never able to get time off to make the hour plus trip to drive to see it.
Now a new truck is showing up on line. This is a 2025 Flash w ER. Car fax shows vehicle sold in 9/2025, in 10/2025 first owner reported w loan or Lien reported. Vehicle Serviced in 10/2025. Loan or Lien reported in 3/10/26 in Camden SC. Odometer reading reported in College Sta.,Texas on 3/15/26. Then the next listing it is shown as being repossessed in April 2026 and then sold at auction on 5/6/26.
Is being repo’d a bad thing? Should I just move on from this? Or can I give it the attention that it matters.

Seriously looking for the past 6 months. Came across a used 2022 Platinum with 23k miles with extended range. Nice looking truck from photos, clean. Dealer is asking 51k. They say that the truck was traded in w/no charging cables, adapters, etc.
My questions are; assuming nothing is wrong with the truck, is this a good deal and is it common that used trucks are sold w/out charging cables or is this a dealer trying to get more $$$ out of me?

Anyone ride to Long Beach? Is there a somewhat safe route that avoids significant time on the major roads? I don’t think there are bike lanes anywhere. I guess I would have to leave very early in the morning to miss the traffic, but returning could be life threatening. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
