Rock slider advice

Looking to join the Passport family! I’m in the final stages of configuring my new ride and am considering the rock sliders.

I’m in western NY and am considering the rock sliders for doing light off roads, trailhead access, fire roads, etc.

I doubt I really need them but I think they will give me peace of mind on roads where the passport is truly capable.

My one question is aesthetics. How visible are they when installed? While the Passport looks rugged, I’m not trying to turn it into an off-roading behemoth.

Any other general input in the rock sliders?

Thanks all! Appreciate any and all guidance.

I’m considering a Passport that I’ll use as a general daily driver for kid hauling, light off road, etc. I do a lot of fly fishing and am wondering if anyone has used their Passport for this purpose.

I’m specifically wondering about:
- whether rods fit inside assembled mounted against the ceiling.
- generally how you like it and any special features about the Passport you like for fishing.

Thanks all!

I’m strongly considering a 4Runner as my next vehicle. Light off-roading, kid hauling, fly fishing duty.

My hesitation is the space in the backseat for my kids. My older son is 14 and 5’10”, and will hit 6’ in the next few years. Younger brother is right behind him.

Looking for feedback on what others experience is.
