While Nairobi is famous for being the only capital with a national park within city limits, it is also among the world’s major cities to have a forest within its borders.
Karura Forest offers hikers beautiful trails featuring waterfalls, hills, river valleys, wetlands, and an array of plant life.
You can also spot monkeys, dik-diks, reptiles, tortoises, and other animals.
While hiking here, you forget that you’re actually inside a bustling city.
This is where your tea comes from. Tigoni sits in the highlands east of the Great Rift Valley.
At an average elevation of 2,200 meters, the area’s cool climate makes it ideal for growing tea.
Tea farms offer some of the best hiking locations in Kenya. With dams, river valleys, waterfalls and indegenous forests
Ikikam kwa literature, esp fiction, sidhani kuna wenye wanafikia WaRussia!
Compared to Dostoyevsky na Tolstoy, hii ni fupi sana, sana. My copy is only 432 pages. Plus poem za Yuri Zhivago (main character) ni 456 pages.
Alternatively, kuna movie ya the great David Lean by the same name. It’s an 3hr 17 min epic, and I highly recommend it!
People onjad life here!
I enjoy and love Jackson Biko’s blog. His stories in the “people” category are my favorite.
His books however are meh. And they’re too expensive!
Ok. Not an attack but a review
Some pictures I have taken over the years in Karura Forest
