Hammer

My studio did Hammer today. About halfway through, my back started to get tight. I didn’t tweak or throw it out. Just tight. It happens sometimes. Nbd.

After the workout, I counted 12 - TWELVE - people who were rubbing or stretching out their lower back after the workout. I definitely was not alone.

I’ve learned from this thread that the workouts are tested and piloted before going live to all of us. Did no one catch that Hammer will hammer your back into oblivion?

BLUF: what’s your weekly mileage like between training blocks?

4x marathoner here! Just earned myself a nice big fat PR and officially in the sub-4 club! Woot! Hard work pays off.

That said, I won’t be running another marathon until October (currently May 2026).

I took a whole week off from running and gym post marathon. I’ve run once since. Went to group fitness/strength day yesterday, a bit sore today. Was going to go out and run this afternoon - have no interest.

I worry a lot about the loss of cardio fitness. Anyone have experience with this? The solution is to obviously keep running. In your experience what is weekly mileage like between training blocks? My goal - when my motivation is there (unlike today) - is about 25mi per week until my training block starts.

Hi friends. Going on a cruise with a stop at Cozumel on a Wednesday this month (May 2026).

Looks like I’ll have from 9am to 6pm.

I’ll be alone and I’d love to do gay things. I’m willing to cross over to PdC and taxi up to Cancun.

Things I like: sex, beaches with lots of gays whom I can have sex with, a nice lunch, and shopping. I’m just being honest. I’m not trying to do a lot of sightseeing as I’ll be in Tulum later this year - I’ll do all that then!

Thoughts?

Where is the best Detroit style pizza? And please no Emmy Squared. I loved Nina and Rafi but didn’t care for their toppings.

Prefer a place where you can “build your own”
