Trying to connect old device with Serato DJ (pro, lite) but nothing works (Numark Mixdeck Quad)

I'm asking here because I'm desperate, no tutorial, guide, or bloody sloppish ai-bot seems to have any idea on how to help...

So I currently have a Numark Mixdeck Quad, downloaded Serato DJ Lite and tried to connect them. I am using a MacBook Air with M4.

When I connect the controller to the Mac, it appears on audio-midi settings. So hardware is talking.

The console is set with both decks on MIDI-USB.

When I open Serato DJ Lite, nothing happens. No control whatsoever.

When I try on Serato DJ Pro, sometimes a message "connecting to Numark Mixdeck Quad, this could take up to 1 minute" appears in yellow in the Botton screen. But nothing happens again.

I know the console is old. But it's still listed on the compatible devices. So I don't know what is happening. Any ideas?

How bad is PRK?

Soon I’ll get operated. From what I’ve heard, the first couple days is excruciating pain. And vision takes a long time to stabilize after that.

What is your experience? I’m terrified.

Im a little bit lost and im in search for any insights.

Was diagnosed with KC 7 years ago. Since its stable for now im not operating yet. Still doing controls and it’s still ok, but im starting to look again for operation options because I want to get the problem fixed.

But, I’m really struggling to find a good doctor. What I mean by that is: at the time I went to a lot of specialists, here in Italy and around Europe. What I found out is that none of them cared about my sighting or actually curing me. They all were focused on selling me their special operation method, prk, no prk, rings etc.

My cousin, that was diagnosed with me, went to this fancy beautiful and expensive center in Switzerland. Ended up with excruciating pain DURING the operation. Not much follow up after that. Every doctor I went wasn’t interested in curing, and it was impossible to get true medical advice (e.g. what method would be better in my case). It was all “yeah you have to get operated and my method is the best”.

So, how do you begin? Any advice?

In pratica:
