A terrible future for Ayanokoji?

Hi everyone. I’ve finished all four anime seasons of *Classroom of the Elite* (CoTE), but I haven’t read the light novels. I came across a few posts mentioning a volume where Horikita speaks—from a future perspective—about a tragic fate that befell Ayanokoji. What can you tell me about that? Do we already know, then, that Ayanokoji will meet a grim end by the time the story concludes?

A stunning series, but something is missing for me.

I absolutely love this work, but I really would have liked to see a time skip showing Minato and Koyuki together as adults. Didn't you miss that?

Do you think the ending will focus more on the emotional growth of the protagonists?

I love this story and the way it tackles various themes, but we are literally talking about middle schoolers here... They are just about to enter high school, so I find it very, very hard to picture a potential time skip where the two of them are still together or married. Generally speaking, it’s rare for a high school couple to actually stay together and get that "happily ever after," and here we’re starting from an even earlier stage. In my opinion, the two won't be together in the future—there are too many life variables coming up over the next few years—but the work as a whole will ultimately focus on their personal growth. Who they become by the end will reflect the experiences we’ve read about; those years shaped them as individuals and will leave them with fond memories forever. What do you think?

experiences with manga adaptations

Hi everyone,

I’m new to the world of light novels, and to be completely honest, I have absolutely no interest in reading plain text. I’ve been reading manga and watching anime for decades, and I really hate the idea that, to continue this series, I’d have to read what is essentially a book. So, I wanted to ask: do manga adaptations of light novels usually cover the entire original work?

I know Volume 10 (the final volume) comes out tomorrow and will essentially cover their wedding as the conclusion; is it realistic to think that—even if it takes years—the manga will cover everything up to the end of Volume 10, or do they usually stop much earlier?

What do you think will happen at the 18th birthday party?

When Tougo celebrates Poemu’s 17th birthday with all their classmates, he promises her that for her 18th, it will be just the two of them. What do you think will happen? Given how their relationship is progressing—in a way that is fantastic and perfectly balances comedy—I think that in the coming chapters, their desire for intimacy will grow. I imagine they’ll end up taking a trip for her 18th birthday, and in a hilarious, comical situation, Tougo will tell her he wants to have sex—doing so with that mix of playfulness and seriousness that is so characteristic of him—giving us the chance to see some truly masterful artwork :D

Gestione dell'imposta di bollo dello 0,2%

Ciao a tutti,

Ayanokoji's Fate

A direct question:

Will Ayanokoji return to the White Room at the end of the school, leading a life of darkness, or will events ultimately save him?

In my opinion, he won't be able to escape the fate of the White Room, and unfortunately for him, after these three years, he'll return to where he came from, losing all contact with everyone in the work. I think so because I find it very difficult for him to change enough, with the number of volumes remaining, to think of living a "normal" life.

Consob: ral, benefit, smart ecc

Ciao a tutti,

I finished reading the entire manga! Almost a 10!

The work itself is beautiful, Komi's development is fantastic, the relationship with Todano is among the best I've ever seen. However, I have to say that I missed a time-skip chapter of the two of them married with a family, it would have been (at least for me) truly the best.... Didn't you miss a chapter like that at the end of the reading?

Anime and/or manga recommendations similar to Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me

I'm looking for something similar to this work. For example, I also really like "My First Girlfriend Is a Gal." I'd like works that explore the entire development of a couple (from shyness to sex, from first meeting to final marriage), and not the usual work with the final kiss as the climax.

The taboo of physical intimacy in modern RomComs: Why is it still an issue?

Hi everyone (image unrelated to the question),

I’m posting this to gather some opinions from the community.

Premise: The list of RomComs I’ve read is huge, and I’d say that 80% of these works are set in high school (the remaining 20% is split between university life and adults in the workplace). It’s that 80% I want to focus on. Over the years, I’ve seen this genre evolve—from character designs becoming much more detailed to the plots themselves exploring all sorts of topics. I think we can all agree that every RomCom has a mix of realistic and unrealistic elements... we get invested in the story, the main and supporting characters, the secondary couples, the situations that arise, etc.

What I really don’t understand is how it’s possible that in 2026, with all the evolution we've seen, I still have to witness works where the balance between "real" and "unreal" omits the intimate component of a couple 9 times out of 10 (which is an indisputable real-world element). Some of you might say, "If it’s not a Seinen, you can’t expect those topics," but don’t you think that’s an outdated concept by now? The Shoujo category is for teenagers up to 18 years old, but... I mean... isn't it more than realistic that a guy and a girl in their first year of high school (16 years old), IF they get together, will almost certainly evolve into physical intimacy?

We always see the same constants: shyness, the confession, holding hands, a kiss, and going public with the relationship. These are all beautiful things, and depending on the story, they're things we can identify with through our own experiences. But practically every one of us has also faced the fears, joys, and insecurities of physical intimacy alongside the emotional ones... yet those seem to be topics that are almost always avoided or merely "implied."

To be clear: I am absolutely not asking for every RomCom to become an Hentai/Ecchi; I’m not interested in that at all. Personally, I see threads with 300+ comments containing deep-dive analyses of what a specific sentence meant for a couple at a specific moment... and then we have works that skip these concepts entirely? I know they exist, and I’m probably unaware of many of them, but it’s time to treat every couple in a much more realistic way, having them face that kind of conversation (like in Kaguya-sama: Love is War or, I don't know, Wolf Girl and Black Prince!). Both addressed the issue of intimacy as an obvious and natural evolution for the couples, and I see nothing wrong with that! A single chapter included a moment experienced by every high schooler, and they did it without being vulgar—it was just an integral part of the narrative.

What do you think about this? Do you think it’s right that new RomCom productions still maintain these taboos, making every story feel constantly unrealistic on this subject? Share your thoughts.
