I've just finished Tomb Raider 1 again from start to finish for only the 2nd time.

Wow, this game is brilliant. Definitely my favourite TR game. Hopefully the remake will do the game justice.

The run of levels from Caves to Palace Midas has to be one of greatest runs ever..

There wasn't a level I disliked in this game. My least favourites are Cistern and Tomb of Tihocan. Cistern isn't bad if you know the optimal route to refrain from backtracking... and Tomb of Tihocan is just short and only gets good towards the end... but overall, there isn't a bad level in my opinion.

The soundtrack, the vibes, the isolation, the level design, the difficulty was perfect.

The story probably could have been fleshed out a bit, but you get the gist from the minimal cutscenes and dialogue.

After coming across a 2019 print of the Reignited Trilogy on eBay for £10. I thought why not purchase another copy.

My other version was the 2018 version with only Spyro 1 on the disc.

I've previously gone into CEX and asked if they had any discs with 2019 printed on them.. and they looked at me like I was a complete nutjob. It's super annoying that in the UK you need to look at the disc to see whether a version is the 2018 or 2019 print.

Probably a bit pointless getting a second copy as everyone has access to the internet to download the updates anyway.
