BT FTTP Broadband install drama
I ordered BT full fibre 900 on the 19th March. Engineer came on the 15th April, said he couldn't do it but didn't say why. Then another engineer arrived on the 19th May, fitted the ONT box but then said he couldn't complete it as the pole did not have a CBT box at the top. So I raised Executive complaints to BT about selling a service that they couldn't supply, and to Openreach as well because their website (and BT's one too) said that it was now enabled/available. Openreach came back with a line of sight issue, plus the fact that I love in an unadopted road so they have to get a wayleave signed.
I cancelled the order and I received an ofcom credit from BT on Monday morning because they couldn't complete and I put the matter to rest. Then I noticed the BT website said that I had an outstanding order so I looked and BT has raised an order for a full fibre upgrade!!!! It wasn't the old order they cancelled and reenabled but a new order!!!! Then I received an email from Openreach saying that they are coming to install it in 2 weeks. The issue with the pole still hasn't been sorted, the line of sight issue remains and no Openreach survey team has been seen near the pole. The estate company had had no wayleave paperwork.
This has got to be a wind up surely.
