Not even cool enough for a meaningless compliment this morning …
We’ve been in our house for a tad over a year, and this popped up — we just noticed today. My working theory is that someone came into our backyard in the middle of the night, planted three irises, and departed. (Spouse says two more are coming up.) They sure weren’t there last summer, and my husband moved some other bulbs last fall to give azaleas and a butterfly bush some space. The hosta is an over-performer.
Thank you, bulb pixies, wherever you are!
Put some laundry in and now I will be sacrificed or sent on a quest. Send help.
