I saw a situation that makes me think about some situations about what is acceptable about rage in this community.
Today, a post was made about delay mod and a dude comment about disagreeing on the comment. Of course, I try to defend myself and contra-argument about his position. At the moment is ok, until I realize about the situation he is passing and calm down a little, saying he had a son. Understanding the situation I try to respect his position and like "ok, I probably exaggerated in some ways" and trying to appeal at right way. But that, things collapse.
What happens? Apparently users start to act very bad about his son saying things that are on post, but are like: "I felt bad for that child" in the way to mocking the dude's son, only because he doesn't agree with OP position. At this point, I need to defend him and call-out the dude, saying he is not correct and call him... I can't say here without mods calling me out. And that, the user just call me I defend a cheater and screw up my son (I don't have btw).
I'm not attacking someone personally, because all the things are on "Delay mod users" post and I'm not lying about the stuff. But some things went to far.
said this post is about rages and everyone is free of raging, but one thing is raging and other is call someone personal life and use the things against him. Maybe I be rude calling him... you know? Yes, but nothing justify make personal attacks of anybody's life and the responsibles of making these attacks, I hope you apologize u/randomTO24, because for how much we don't agree with someone's opinion, it's not justification the make personal attacks. And don't try to hide, because the responsibles know who they are.
We have free speech to rage, but one thing is rage, and other personal attacks.
