A Golden year for the big 3?
Can we all just step back for a moment and appreciate the amazing art we have been given this year?
First we get a 10/10 album with TFO with some of J Cole's best work and a world tour off the back of it. Banger after banger, I think it might be my favorite out of his body of work. And not to forget the freestyles before the release.
Next we get Drake with an incredible project with Iceman. I will say its been less than a week and we really haven't had time to let it simmer but it feels like its up there with some of the best of his work.
Going with the 2 year cycle we should see another Kendrick project this year too. With the form he was on with the last one I'm expecting something huge.
We won't know how good we have it now till they stop or "fall off". Instead of shitting on the other big 2 can't we just appreciate all of them? I'm thinking we will be looking back on this year like an incredible moment in rap.
