After 9/11 there was this huge debate among the international community regarding the US’ coercive policy of registering everybody’s biometrics once they entered their territory — without exception, antecedents or suspicion.

Now I can’t help but think that after October 7 and the genocide backlash, this is next: to naturalize the elimination of privacy rights, free speech, and a complete f*scist surveillance State.

(I mean, I know it’s not new — it’s the naturalization that shocks me).

I’ve never owned a Schecter before, and I’m actually blown away from the quality, the specs and the price range — at least for the Elite series.

- Body: Swamp Ash with a Flamed Maple top in Antique Fade Burst finish.
- Neck: Multi-ply Maple/Walnut/Padauk through-body with carbon fiber reinforcement rods for stability.
- Fingerboard: Ebony with 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets and a 12"-16" compound radius.
- Pickups: Active Fishman Fluence Modern (Ceramic magnet in bridge, Alnico magnet in neck).
- Electronics: Volume/Tone (Push-Pull) for voice selection and coil-splitting, 3-way switch.
- Hardware: Hipshot Hardtail (.125) bridge with string-thru body, and Schecter Locking tuners.

Although super biased, I really think Schecter is underrated.
