We have friends whose daughter is going to Dartmouth this year. We'd like to get some sort of gift or gift card that would be useful for her as an off-to-college present.
Is there somewhere on campus or in town that would be a good option? A store where students go, or a really popular coffee shop or something?
Electronic gift card probably would be best, since time is short.

I am looking to smarten up my wardrobe a bit and I'm struggling with finding trousers that work for me.
For info, I am just over 6 feet tall and 175 pounds (184cm 79.5kg). I typically wear a 33waist with a 34 inseam (don't know what a euro equivalent would be). I have a short torso, and almost all of my pants are 5 pocket style which I've defaulted to due to the lower waist. Even with these, if I tuck in my button-down shirt, the proportions look off due to my (lack of) torso length.
The few trousers I've tried on (at a Brooks Bros. outlet) seemed to have a VERY high waist and make the proportions look even weirder to me.
Are there styles I should search for, or commonly available brands/stores that I should look for that won't make me look like I ? Any other suggestions for trousers for long legs/short torso?
