So much expression and emotion, I love this

For a manga focused on swords, it’s obvious that the sorcery aspect wouldn’t be as developed. But actually I’m really liking the powers so far

They’re simple, easy to understand, often with various applications, and more importantly they’re very cool visually

What do you think?

Like seriously, she's such a good villain. Her presence in the story, how she manipulates everyone, the way she plays her cards, her beliefs, her defeat

She's arguably the best character in the show. AND I LOVE TO HATE HER

She traumatized Denji in every way possible, she stripped him from everything, telling him that as long as she's out there he can't live a normal life. And all of this because she needed Pochita, not because she hates Denji or something. Had it been another person she'd do the same. Because every horrible act is for a better world, she never cared about Denji. And don't get me started with Aki

And all this escalation building up and leading to her downfall is SUCH A PAYOFF. Back when CSM had actually compelling writing, layered meanings and themes

In the end all of her bossy and dominant attitude, all of the crimes, the abuse, the grooming, were because deep down she's a PATHETIC LONELY LOSER FANGIRL. She never understood humans, nor the fact that life needs bad moments for the good ones to be precious memories

"Mrs. Makima. In this ultra-awesome perfect world you're gonna make, will there still be crappy movies?"

"Personally...i believe the world would be better if bad movies ceased to exist"

"Hmm...guess i gotta kill you after all then"

This dialogue encapsulates the message of part 1. Makima will never get this simple concept because she studied life and humans from books, she even refuses to let go of her headcanons on her goat (Pochita)

In the end, Makima desperately craves for connections but can't get none. And her arrogance was the reason of her demise

Ooohhh i get in such a good mood when i talk about Makima's downfall. Can't wait to see it animated. Hating Makima warms my heart. Too bad she wants to feel this warm too but can't because she doesn't have a heart

If Makima has a million haters, then i am one of them

If Makima has ten haters, then i am one of them

If Makima has only one hater then that is me

If Makima has no haters, then that means i am no longer on earth

If the world loves Makima, then i am against the world.
