What is the consensus for purchasing?

I'm seeing so many conflicting posts about how to actually obtain it, how long it takes, what to do for consultation.

It seems like Hair Club is a rip off, but from what I can see online they're the only ones who are coming out and saying they do it. Even if I go to another "big name," I'm not convinced that whatever has people up in arms about Hair Club is not also present there.

I've looked for salons in my area (Philly) and noone seems to just come right out with it, i.e., nothing on the site says they do it, if they do I'm not sure I can trust them.

Note: This is not for me but my little brother. He has an intellectual disability so I have been doing most of this research for him. Thus, it's hard to go with the whole "just do what feels right" thing since it's not actually my head/look.

This is a long way of saying: can someone just tell me where to start. send a link of where to buy or where to book an appointment. I'm having trouble getting reliable information. Philly area but willing to travel ~1hr.

That was just your life

Why wasn’t this song bigger?

If this song came out on any album since the black album, it’d be considered an all-timer. If it came out on 72 it’d be all anyone talked about. So why did it get overshadowed? It was an amazing opener too. The build up is great. I always go back to it. Can we really blame it all on production? Curious to hear if others don’t like it. I think that riff is outrageous.

AITA for having a destination wedding and being upset for receiving no cards?

We had a destination wedding in Mexico. Yes it was expense for all, but it was a blast. We didn’t force anyone to come of course, but we appreciated each and every person there (80) for taking off work, being there, sacrificing, and celebrating us.

That said, out of 80 people, we received 7 cards. Now given the expense everyone invested, we didn’t necessarily expect** gifts. That said, most are well-off. We have a general understanding of peoples’ situation to know what to and not to expect, and although we may think some may “be able” to gift more than others, we still didn’t “require” it by any means.

With all this, we were tremendously hurt by the fact that we only received 7 cards. This is not about money***. Cards. Thoughts. Yes a few bucks would have been nice and like I said should have been possible for most people, but a card, with meaning and a thought and well wishes, would have gone so much further. What’s a few bucks here and there at the end of the day anyway compared to true words.

This includes wedding parties. Out of 10 each side, two gave a card, one gave a gift. Again, just keeping tabs, it’s not about the gift.

AITA to think that you couldn’t have just written well wishes down? What’s a note? A card? If you want to say the expense and gift was the travel fine, but you can’t bring a card? People we’ve known our whole lives can’t write something personal? Are we to assume that just showing up is equivalent to some heartfelt words on paper?

I feel like to give nothing is classless and it’s putting a bad taste in our mouths that we don’t want to have. Can you give some guidance here? I don’t want to be in some weird wedding stiff with people and I feel like my friends just think less of us. My spouse only wants to give cards and no gift now. I don’t want to undervalue the trip and sacrifice they made and maybe I’m making too much of it.
