I bought a new bike and was using a quick rack on my previous. I want to use the same quick rack on this new bike but the UDH bolt blocks passage of the axle. Has anyone came across this before and had a simple fix?
I used Josh Meissner’s advice from Bikepacking.com and attached cages to my quick rack L using the QL3.1 clamps that come with the rack. They act as the perfect mounting points, both sturdy and easily adjustable. I used M5x40mm bolts but could’ve easily gone with 30/35mm. Pretty lightweight option at 910g!

Slight problem. I pulled out the seatpost from one of my old bikes and realised it is snapped in two. Any ideas on how to remove the remaining section of seatpost that’s stuck on the frame?

My partner and I are planning to bikepack from Ljubljana to Tirana over the month of August. We have our flights to Ljubljana and from Tirana booked so it’s happening.
We have planned a route that I have linked below. Our plan is to avoid the summer traffic, and stick to a mix of trails that we have been researching. We will camp as much as possible, but will need access to food and water along the way. We’ll recharge in bigger towns where possible.

If you could share any routes or suggestions for points 4 and 6 it would be really helpful. If anyone has experience in these areas regarding camping, access to food and water, and general knowledge to the entire route it would also be super helpful!!
