What Do You Think Humanity’s Future Will Look Like?

Sometimes I think there are only a few possible futures for humanity.

  1. If Christianity is true and Jesus’ prophecies really happen, then His return would become the biggest event in human history. Everything humans ever built or believed would suddenly be seen differently.

  2. If religions are not true and Jesus never returns, then humanity could destroy itself first. Maybe through war, climate disasters, nuclear weapons, pandemics, or simply failing to adapt to future problems.

  3. Another possibility is that humans survive and keep evolving. AI evolves with us, humans spread beyond Earth to other planets, and technology becomes so advanced that people might even transfer consciousness into artificial intelligence just to survive longer.

Honestly, when I think about the future, it feels like humanity is standing between self-destruction and becoming something far beyond what we are today.

What do you think is the most realistic future for humanity?

Should I delete my account on Discord?

I spent most of my time on Discord, and to be honest, I even served as a moderator there. But what did I get from it? Honestly, nothing except hate and judgment. I noticed how disrespectful and toxic people can be on Discord. One person was even misbehaving with me just because I did not agree with him.

But whatever it is, I think at the end of the day it is just Discord, and I should not get addicted to it. Maybe I already am, but still, I know I should not be.

What do you think about it? Do online communities really matter more than peace of mind?

If every religion says we’re doomed somehow, then what are we even supposed to believe?

Sometimes I genuinely think about this and it messes with my head.

Like imagine if one religion is actually the true one:

If Hinduism is true, then we’re stuck in this endless cycle of rebirth, suffering again and again until somehow reaching moksha.

If Christianity is true, then a lot of our ancestors, family members, maybe even us, could end up in hell for not accepting Jesus or just being sinners in general. And honestly heaven itself sounds lonely if the people you love aren’t there.

If Islam is true, then again a lot of people are basically cooked depending on belief and judgment.

It feels like every religion comes with some terrifying outcome attached to it. No matter what you choose, there’s always the fear that you picked wrong.

How do you guys deal with this stuff mentally?

Do you just stop caring?

Do you think religions are symbolic instead of literal?

Or do religious people actually feel at peace about all this somehow?

I’m not trying to offend anyone btw, I’m genuinely curious how other people think about this.
