I have a 2014 Volkswagen CC R-line with nearly 150k miles one it. about a month and a half ago it randomly didn't start one morning, towed it to a mechanic who told me the steering wheel lock actuator (or something like that) was bad and needed to be replaced. I was quoted upwards of $1500 to fix it. I'm now in a position where I'm trying to figure out if it is worth it to get it fixed in order to sell it, I see similar cars listed online for around $7k, but my car has this issue which might go over 1500 for repairs, it also has a cracked windshield, a large dent in the passenger door, and it does need to have its thermostat replaced ($900-$1200 quote for that). If I do spend the 1500 to get it fixed, i have no idea how much someone would give me for it, and so no idea if it would be financially worth it to fix. please help, tha
