For anyone that lives in MN you probably understand the new MN PFML system. Quarterly payments need to go to MN. Well, you have to link QBO and the MN PFML site. Mine wasn't set up on time so for the 1st quarter I did it manually. For the 2nd quarter it wasn't set up yet either and I got an email from QBO to pay manually, which I did this morning. Now I go into QBO and it looks like the connection has been made and they're going to pay and file automatically for the 2nd quarter.

I contacted support to have them cancel their auto payment and filing. They said "we can't.. it's automatic". I told them "You literally told me to file manually, and now you are doing it automatically because of bad timing on your end.... I don't believe you can't cancel it." They reply "we can't." So then I tell them to contact the state of MN to clear it up. *crickets*. What a bunch of dumb F*cks over at Intuit.

I did contact MN PFML support so that hopefully they can back/cancel my payment and filing I did this morning so there isn't a duplicate. I don't know what's going to happen, but I know MN does charge a fee for fixing things, and that means Intuit will have to cover it, but I bet they won't.

Man I'm sick of QBO...

Watching PAD last night I thought.. they should have had Randy star in Tusk. The movie would have went a lot easier. Randy would have agreed to everything and probably would have been happy to be a seal. But I bet Ricky would think That's fcked. lol

Trying to set up the POS MN PFML and it's all messed up in QB because I'm an Paid Leave Only. Get on chat with support. The first guy couldn't help me but he was sure to throw in a few upsells/ads for services. I just hung up.

Second helper was better, asked how my day was. I said "frustrating with this MN Paid Leave which MN doesn't even understand which makes it hard for QBO to set up properly... and I hate all the pop ups in QBO." She said "I understand.. let me help."

She helps me, then tries to upsell as well to some higher payroll service and QBO tier. I told her "listen, I really appreciate you helping me get this figured out, and I know you're probably required to upsell, but I'm not a customer for that. "

Ironically I didn't get a email to review either interaction. The first I would destroy. The 2nd, she helped, but still tried to upsell after I told her I was sick of pop ups.

She also confirmed there's no way to turn off auto tax payments and filing. lol. I told her that is kinda silly since I'm my own boss and only employee and I understand it's just a reason for them to increase their prices.

Oh man how I wish I could get off QBO. But for the most part, it does what I need.

PS.. whenever I try to post here is says it's required to add a flair. There's no Add Flair button in this group that I see. Just Add Tags..

Especially if you don't want payments going through QBO. I have noticed a few of my invoices duplicated from old invoices are getting ACH turned on automatically. While I accept ACH, I don't need to give Intuit a percentage of my sales by them automatically turning that on and confusing the customer.

Intuit... get your SH*T together. Don't force new settings to be on without at least a warning. We all know you know how to do popups in QBO, so you could actually make them useful here.

I got a notification the price of QBO is going up (no surprise there) but it mentions HCM. I quickly scanned what it is and there is nothing there that I believe I want or need. What's the thought on that? Are they now just adding features you can't opt out of to reconcile their need to raise prices?

I have had IBS-D for over 30 years (one doc I saw said it's actually Chron's after some tests). I had my first colonoscopy 20 years ago. Nothing found. Yesterday (I'm 55) I had my 2nd one because of an abnormal Cologuard report.

I normally take imodium daily (1-2) and if I get bad flares I will take lomotil as well. I never go a day without a movement. Ever. Even after taking 5 imodium and 2 lomotils. Normally a decent morning BM, then they get loser as the day goes on. Anywhere from 3-7 movements a day... of course urgent ones (which cause great anxiety).

Anyhow, I stopped the imodium 4 days before my procedure. Did the prep, had the procedure and they found 1 11mm, 2 8mm, 2 4mm and 1 5mm polyps. Removed. Doctor reported no issues.

I went home and had 2 eggs and toast, per the doc's recommendations, for lunch. I actually had D about 3 hours later. It may have had a little blood in it, but hard to tell.

For supper I had shrimp cocktail and a piece of white fish. No issues until this morning. I had 3 runs of D. Again, normal for me when not taking imodium. So, I decided to take just one imodium.

Anyone else have similar results? The D seems a little worse, then again, it's been years since I went more than 2-3 days without imodium. Wondering if I should lay off or if it's possible I have residual prep (Golytely?) causing the D?

Just took my 2nd dose of Gavilyte. It's not that bad. Salty water. Last time (over 20 years ago) they had me use Fleet Phosphosoda. That was terrible. Or maybe I didn't mix it weak enough.

Been fasting since supper last night. Waiting for the call to see what time I'm going in. If it's 7am I'm probably not getting up at 3am just to finish the prep. Having IBS-D I'm usually pretty cleaned out anyway.

Also, this time I'm lucky enough to have a nice Toto bidet.

I have a 21 LC500 and I use one of those AA modules plugged into USB to get AA. If a 2018 LS500 doesn't have AA or Carplay installed from factory, but it does have bluetooth, with one of those AA modules work to get AA on the 2018?
