Personal Playlist for Loki TV Show
I just finished Loki (I know, I'm late) and I love music so I compiled a list of songs that I felt like vibed with the show in one way or another. I would love to hear any songs you feel like go with the show. Also, SPOILERS present if you haven't seen the show:
Hunter- Bjork (maybe when the hunters are trying to locate variants)
Masters of Destiny- Delain (genre itself doesn't really vibe with the show but lyrics do, questioning free will and who designed your destiny)
Sweet Dreams (are Made of This)- Emily Browning (climactic end of show/ Loki takes throne as God of Stories feel)
Daydream- Gunter Kallman Choir (maybe a more upbeat scene after Sylvie kills He Who Remains and achieves the freedom she desires)
Moonlight Sonata- ES Posthumous (good song for episode end credits)
Whisper- Evanescence (maybe Loki contemplating his choice to become God of Stories, an role he didn't expect. "Upon my end shall I begin... I rise to meet the end.")
Daffodil- Florence and the Machine- I feel like lots of lyrics apply to Loki "I am not bad, I am not good," themes of suffering, resurrection, being the "chosen one," and seeing the future.
I'd Like to Walk Around in Your Mind- Vashti Bunyan- Sylvie and Loki being cautiously into each other but also want to know what is going on in the other's mind.
Goodbye Blue Sky/ Pink Floyd- A minimalist song that might work well in a scene where something terrible and apocolyptic is happening, like Lamentis ending.
