I know that it's a heated topic between chud Redditors whether the pen patch was "good for the game" or not, but this game has never been more fun for me. I love being able to finally fight back as a mage, I love being able to play more variety, I love squishy vs squishy 1v1s to actually resolve in a death. The game is just so much fun to play! Here's to hoping that we keep this direction for the game going, bursty, fast paced, always combat action has always been at the core of Smite for me. W HiRez.

SINCERELY WHY ARE THE FROGS STILL POINTED

I'm sorry for the odd post- but why are: Swap Frog and Ronintoadin still pointed? I understand that- MAYBE- they need to have some points, but would "full power" paleofrogs sincerely be an issue? Ronintoadin was hit in advanced because he was an absurd number of link material, but in Genesys, in order to get Ronintoadin back into the GY, you need to either synchro with it or detach for an XYZ material effect- and to what end?

Unless I'm missing something, I believe this is a huge oversight- mostly because I loved playing Paleofrogs back when Toadally Awesome was the hot stuff, and I really miss that gameplay! I am really hopeful to see these points corrected.

I don't care about my chud son Substitoad. He can be 101 points for all I care.

MID LANE "FEELS BAD TO PLAY" AND I MADE A DOCUMENT TO DISCUSS IT

I know there are going to be some people who read the title and write it off entirely, but if you care to discuss these thoughts and feelings, feel free to give the document a skim, or even a read!

(Also, the title means it feels bad to play compared to Smite 1 but I thought that wouldn't be as eye-catching)

I'd love to talk criticism (both design and opinion related), and I'd love a positive discussion out of it!

The document covers rod of tahuti, penetration, and echo- and it's a little lazy, a little poorly formatted, but I tried my best after work!

For those who won't read through it: no I am not calling mid lane & mages weak, underpowered, etc. I am discussing perceived issues with the role and the "spiky" nature of the items, and my (amateur) thought experiments with these items & issues. I can't wait to see the professional's response to these issues when they come eventually (echo is getting changed, penetration changes coming too) and see how they compare to my outlandish and not-so-well thought out ideas!

If you do read through it, thank you for your time for a stranger's opinions on the internet. I'd love to discuss!
