Have you ever seen a city with over 40,000 residents?

Hi folks!

Have you ever seen a city with over 40,000 citizens or more ? I ask because I’ve been playing Rome Total War for a long time, upgrading cities like Alexandria, Athens, Byzantium, Rome, and others, but the most I’ve ever seen is 34,000 residents, no more!

Hi! I’ve played Rome about 30 times, and every time the Romans start off really strong, but after 15–30 rounds they become very weak. It’s pretty disappointing... Why?

(I mean when I'm against them)

Hello folks! Could you help me? I’ve played as the Romans, Greeks, Egyptians, Parthians, and others on very difficult, and I’m winning easily. Which faction should I choose for more of a challenge?
