TIFU. By calling a customer "daddy"

This just happened and I am MORTIFIED .. typing this while im on break. I was working cashier at your local Walmart, whilst ringing this family of 3 out i offered stickers to their kid, being the enthused wally world employee I am I proceed to say "Yknow, you all could match if ya wanna!" Parents seemed to be chill with it i gave a sticker to the mom, "alright one for mom" I say.. then followed up with "And does daddy want a sticker?" As those words left my mouth i knew I screwed up.. I was mortified as mentioned earlier. Time felt like it had personally frozen so I could stew in my stupidity why.. why would I say this??? Not "does dad want a sticker" not "and one for papa!" No.. no "does daddy want a sticker"! And it doesn't help i have sort of a... feminine customer service voice. The "gaycent" if you will so it sounded VERY zesty.. to top it off the dad gave me the most bombastic eyebrow raised side eye.. the mom didnt seem to catch on but he knew.. HE KNEW I screwed up, he held eye contact from behind his wife and child, he smirked at me! I just want to melt into the ground and fade away.

TL;DR: Called someone's husband and father daddy. He caught on and made me suffer in silent embarassment.

I think my job is trying to make me quit what should I do?

I'm Male 26: So I work at a big supermarket chain. Ive been on the floor for around 4 days, during 2 of the days I'm doing my job not talking to anyone aside from asking for help with a task or two. No full conversations aside from 1 person and made a very cringe sfw joke to another person. (this is importsnt). I went to my team lead on day 2 and told her my ride situation has changed and I'm not sure if I can make it the shifts she scheduled. I asked if I could be moved on another shift for the same department. She told me no and suggested I quit and try again later, I cant afford to do that so I told her to give me until the end of the day to figure it out which I did, my ride to work is situated. I go back to her and before I could say anything she told me I was terminated due to an ethics complaint. Like I mentioned above I havent spoken to a soul really and when I mentioned the one person I talked to she flatout confirmed "Thats not the person who made the complaint" and "honestly I should report you but I won't so let's just call it a mutual departure" so that was it I was fired she took my badge and everything and I was walked out. This really didnt sit right with me so I called HR the next day. She said I wasnt fired then she proceeded to put me on hold 4 seperate times which I thought was odd. When she came back she told me I need to come in for a meeting with the store manager and the ethics complaint was due to me being too friendly with someone? So im very confused but I told her okay and I'd see her at the meeting. I go to this meeting the store manager isnt there. Which is odd, we talk about the complaint but im getting vague answers and told there will be an investigation and until then they'd move my department to cart pushing. Im not going to lie I cant do this. I'm prone to over heating and on top of that im a diabetic with no access to insulin. I brought up my concerns to the manager that "fired" me cause shes my team lead and she didnt seem like she cared? And she was being very dismissive. So at this point im stuck. I need this job but what they put me on isnt gonna work what can I even do?

More context: I did wanna add that i think the ethics complaint could come from a third party that was spreading my personal business to everyone unprompted tldr im physically involved with his roomate.

And also if anyone is wondering the joke I made to the other person was "Let's say a fruit seller has a best friend. The best friend asks "Fruit seller why are you so sad?" The fruit seller responds "I'm just sad because me and my wife cantaloupe" ... yeah pretty bad I should be jailed for this haha
