Why can't we change position of our GK's?

Tomorrow is august. Just one month before the release of the new game. And still we can't add a position to our GK?

Today they released a new possible CB position to every outfield player, except goalie. Why?

Is it because of meta? People still do the same things they did 3 months ago.

Let us have fun!

Y'all think Mbappe can be a decent centre back?

I packed him recently tradable and saw that he goes for basically min price. Not worth the wait. So i gave him one of the recent evo's that gives him the CB position. Combined with the SBC Evo's of today he'll get these stats combined with intercept+ and block. He's very good in getting the ball back at striker, but will he be able to do the same at CB?

Guys, have i cooked the best target man in the game?

Basically the title. He has everything except the outfield stats.

Any fullbacks with unique crossing animations?

I know that Trent Alexander-Arnold has some unique crossing animations. Any other than him?

I kind of find it dissapointing that the "roleplay" aspect is non-existent in FUT

Yeah i know that roleplay is kind of cringe. But i find it kind of cool. I was doing la croquetas in FIFA 18 when there was not a skillmove for it, you had to wiggle with your left stick in a way to get it. Just to emulate Iniesta.

Last year was optimal for Quaresma with the trivelas. Or a Robben with a leftfoot finesse this year.

It's kind of disappointing that we all have these cards, just to use them in the most generic ways. Salah with a right foot finesse shot. Just an empty husk with the skin of the player.

In Proclubs, some people really emulate the player. Of course the majority are Messi's, Ronaldo's. But you'll have your Kroos, Vitinha's, etc.

I'm not blind to the fact that everything is about winning in FC. It's just sad imo.

Attacking a.i is inconsistent

Before typing anything, i wanna thank the 2 opponents in rivals that let me observe the attacking a.i. A lot declined. Okay, let's go.

I wanted to test out how aggressive the a.i will attack the box if i put every function to all out attacking. Both CDM's on box crasher++, both CAM's on shadow striker++ and both strikers on advanced forward++. Depth on 100 and playstyle counter.

The attacking instructions on the d-pad were on attacking and get into the box. I would always go with the fullback in the corner of the final third and just stand there. And let me tell you, the only ones that were consistent in the box were the strikers, one CAM and one CDM.

In the third slide you see what is happening. One CDM or CAM would always come short to the fullback and not crowd the box. Doesn't matter if i had 2 attacking fullbacks to occupy the flanks, 1 cam or cdm always comes short.

The weird thing is when i changed the d-pad instruction from attacking to balanced, i suddenly found instances where everybody was in the box (except the fullbacks). It's just so inconsistent.

Unpopular opinion: Heading isn't manual but animation based

I was experimenting with this squad. The objective is clear: hoof the ball as much as possible in the box. I also have Sidibe the CDM as a box crasher++ to arrive in the box. Everyone you see has mid 90's to max stats in jumping, heading, strength and aggression. Apart from Crouch, they all have precision header+, aerial fortress+ for the extra jumping i guess and enforcer+.

Now let me get this straight. I've tried everything. From crossing it from every angle possible, to trying every shot power from corners. To watch the strikers running with their arm up asking for a cross.

It's random as heck. Contested or free headers. And it's not about aiming or shot power. I've seen the strikers head it out when i just tapped the shot button. I've seen downward headers when I've not ask for them.

And it's not about the lack of winning the battles, they 98% of their aerial battles and if i just pass with the head it's okay. It's about shooting

Can't EA just make a ranked Rush mode alongside what we currently have?

I'm tired of playing with people that can't defend nor attack, and don't pick players useful for Evo or objectives/bonus rewards.

I hear what you're telling me. Just leave. I WOULD IF I DIDN'T ALWAYS GET A MESSAGE WITH "keep pressing the button to say you've understood that leaving is a no-no".

Guys, what do you think about the Bombito card from the token store?

I find him reallyyy heavy. I don't know if it's bad gameplay or that his dribbling stats aren't good enough. Even with jockey+ and quickstep+

Did someone ever get this title in Rush?

In dutch "tweede keeper" means second goalkeeper. All i was doing was saving finesse shots on the line 😂

Do y'all play some unique tactics?

I'm experimenting with 3 target men upfront, all with precision header+. And crossing it most of the time, but i can also play enforcer samba.

Can someone help me with controls?

I'm a returning ufc Xbox player. But the controls are off. I can only strike with x? And clinch with y? Someone please help.

I genuinely think most of the clubs community plays on auto-pilot

I refuse to accept that people play like this. Opponents, own team, drop ins. Either you're multitasking, using TikTok or something man. The box is empty, so why cross? Why keep trying the same tactic 500 times?

I'm not saying I'm immune from this. But come on man.

What is the most boring role?

Apart from the usual GK that doesn't get shots against him, what are boring roles? No action at all?

In my opinion it's fullback, defensive fullback to be exact. Hear me out.

Let's say you're playing with a friend group of 6. 3 take the attacking positions upfront, 2 midfield and 1 cb. You take RB. The opponent will never take you on. They'll always try to exploit the A.I LB if they can.

They can't ignore the CB because they have to go central, they can't ignore the CDM because he marks the passing lines everywhere. Meanwhile you're in no-mans land. But that's just my experience.

Why are GK's like this?

Like i know I'm playing the cardinal sin that's called drop-ins. But why play GK and leave the box, proceeding to ask for a pass of the AI and turning the ball over. Like aside from trolling, they know what the role consists of right?

What can you do against human GK?

Someone please help. I can't take it anymore. Cutbacks are easier, but 1v1's against a good GK? Forget about it. The defensive AI is up your ass and you see spiderman in goal.

Why isn't the engine archetype more popular at CDM?

I know that drop-ins aren't a good representation of a variety of builds. But i heard youtubers also saying that the engine is good for divisions, but not for competitive. My question is why?

I have this Level 80 Engine build. It's not optimized yet, and i know some points went to "useless" things like 99 stamina and 97 def awareness. But it's very good for a pure CDM: Intercept/tackle and feed the ball to the next.
