I am looking for a church in Merced and since Facebook groups don't allow for this sort of question, I thought Reddit might be the next best thing(knowing that I'm opening the door to some crazy criticism even for asking)

Christian Nationalism makes me gag, and I would like to find a place with good worship and a boots-on-the-ground mentality for actually serving and helping people, not just in other countries, but right here... in Merced. It's not just about the word of God, it's about living it out in real time and working to be more like Jesus every day.

So. I'm picky as heck. Where do you like? Where do you not? Where should I try? Where should I avoid?

No skirt-pushing pentacostal churches, no all consuming church cults, no Mormons. Any thoughts are appreciated. 😬

When I was in college and I moved into my first off-campus apartment, I went on a bit of a sexual bender--if you will. I straight up hoed tf out. That was, until I was violently raped(by a human being) but what he said to me, despite being our first encounter, has followed me into other sexual sexual encounters I have had since then.

He said: "You belong to me. It doesn't matter where you try to go and where you try to hide. I am going to find you, and I am going to rape you. This is my pussy. You belong to me."

And if it has just been with that one guy that one time, I wouldn't have thought anything of it. Despite not having been technically raped since then, on FIVE other occasions, with five different human beings during consensual sexual acts, this exact same monologue has been repeated, almost--if not--word for word verbatim. The last two I straight up stopped the act mid-sex and asked why they were saying that. They both said something along the lines of "I don't know, I don't even have thoughts like that, I don't know where that came from," etc. So I have confirmation that I wasn't just hearing things.

Just out of curiosity Has anyone had a similar experience like this? With a demon feeling ownership of you and then just possessing people and speaking through them?

P.S. for my physical and mental wellbeing I have since stopped my sexcapading and have been tested for all STDs and am one clean elf!
