Chestnut haul!!

Chestnut haul!!

Not bad this year, considering I get very little pollination and the deer are watchful every night.

Kayak fishing groups on the seacoast

Fixing up my kayak finally and looking for groups or places to drop in a kayak and fish the local structure off the surf. Though I don’t mind dropping in by myself, I would love to join a group. And anywhere from Portsmouth to Rockport,MA would be awesome!

Mite test

Portsmouth New Hampshire here. I have three hives. All about 10 inches apart. One of the three hives is lagging behind this year. So, last week I tested for mites, twice. Both times with zero mites through alcohol wash. Can I assume since the other two hives are going gang busters, that because of proximity their mite number would be similar. Or should I test the other two just in case?

Should I keep going?

I’m currently studying a self paced CMMC CCP course through Space Coast. I’ve been through a few courses for Net, A+, Linux, and I have a few more in the program I’m in. I was taking all of those so I could get a solid base for CCP. Now I don’t know if I should finish out my CCP course and pay for a test. From yalls view, is it still worth it just to finish it out?

Dealership installed kit warranty

Wondering if anybody here has had to deal with this issue. About a year ago I bought a 2024 Pro 4x from the dealership. It had 7k miles and I was told that’s because the manager or owner where they shipped it from had used it as a show truck or drove it back a forth to work sometimes. This dealership also put mud tires and a leveling kit on the truck. When I bought the truck I got the 5 year 150k miles full coverage. Today I took her in for oil change, tire rotation amongst other things. I also told them that the front end is squeezing when turning and going over bumps. I don’t take the truck off road, it’s a daily driver all highway.
The dealership called and said that the leveling kit or what ever the last dealership installed had ball joints going out and it would cost me at least 1500 to fix. And unfortunately it’s past the year warranty for rough country parts. Again, I didn’t ask for this to be installed when I bought the truck. On top of that I wasn’t told that the warranty wouldn’t cover what ever was done.
Has anyone been here before? I told them to pound sand this wasn’t may fault or my problem. To add an extra twist, the dealership I bought the truck from has changed hands since purchase, and everyone I worked with no longer works there.
