I sew skirts and recently i've been adding hanging ribbon, but the hanging ribbon just falls off, the tiniest tug makes it rip off easily. Why is that?
I've followed tons of tutorials and their don't do that, i buy the ribbon from fabric land too, satin on both sides.
I'm frustrated.
Recently made this gorgeous ribbon skirt for my sister, she really wanted this lace over top so i did that. It looks amazing, she got so many compliments at school. Only problem is.... the glitter goes EVERYWHERE, like its to the point where she can't sit down or else where she sits is full of glitter.
How can i fix this or at least tone down the amount that falls?
So i use cotton and glue on the ribbon, wait for it to dry and then sew in a zig zag (cultural skirt) But it ridges like this every single time, i've tried so many things to fix it like ironing it or trying to switch the settings. Ironing it makes it worse and more noticeable.
I use gutermann thread on a brother machine.

I've had it for over a month, it started very small and it grew and grew. Its so hard to get an appointment with my doctor but i finally have one. I've tried athletes foot cream and aquaphor/Polysporin. But anytime i let it dry, it becomes super painful so i keep having to apply cream.
