I’m in a high abandon cart business. I sell my frozen beef from my cattle online with Shopify. Also do local pickup. Local pickup is working great obviously.

Problem is shipping is expensive (19.99/box). I can see the cart abandonment right at checkout.

I have tried the following: Hide shipping in the price. I feel like people are on to this.

Discounted shipping. Spend so much get some off. No one cared.

I ship UPS 1-2 day. I’m trying start shipping mostly in my home state of Ohio. Shipping everywhere runs $35. Unless I eat the shipping people bounce.

I just want to make sure I’m not missing something that I could be doing.
