Korte vraag: ik ben benieuwd. Als je tijdens je kinderwens een OFO hebt gedaan, wat was de Hunaultscore die daaruit kwam bij je en wat was het behandelplan dat de fertiliteitsarts voorstelde en wat is je leeftijd? Ik zit op dit moment te wachten op het behandelplan en weet graag een beetje waar ik me op moet voorbereiden.

My husband and I (31F and 32M) have been trying to conceive for about 14 months, unfortunately with no luck whatsoever... We have our appointment at the fertility clinic scheduled next week and there will be testing and examination done. I was expecting after this that, depending on the results IUI or IVF would be the first step, but I read more and more about fertility doctors sending people home to try longer themselves.
Since my cycle is regular with confirmed ovulation, husband has already had a SA which was normal, I'm expecting all the additional testing also to come back normal. If that's the case, I'm very afraid the doc's advice will be to try longer ourselves before heading to IUI. Trying longer ourselves feels so useless to me these last past cycles and I'm really actually hoping to go into treatment because at least that means some sort of progress instead of stagnation in my mind. We're doing absolutely everything we can so if it hasn't happened for the last 16 cycles, I don't have hope it will happen in the next few cycles, so it just feels like wasting time...
I am curious as to how this went for you: if your tests came back normal, what advice did your fertility doctor give you? Was their advice to start IUI right away or did they send you back home and to come back in six/twelve months? Do you have a say in this as well?

Wij (F31 en M32) zijn meer dan een jaar bezig om zwanger te raken. Mijn cyclus is regulier met bevestigde ovulatie, semenanalyse van mijn partner was goed, alles lijkt goed - maar toch wil het nog niet lukken. We gaan nu starten met een fertiliteitstraject en de eerste stap wordt waarschijnlijk IUI.
Ik ben me aan het inlezen hierop en zie vooral veel terugkomen dat de slagingskans eigenlijk heel erg klein is bij IUI.
Daarom ben ik op zoek naar verhalen van mensen met ongeveer hetzelfde traject, bij wie het wél is gelukt met IUI. Deel alsjeblieft je verhalen :)
En waar ik ook benieuwd naar ben: als je zelf al een reguliere cyclus had met ovulatie, heb je dan een natuurlijk IUI traject gehad of een IUI met medicatie/hormoonstimulatie?
